A very moral Korean folk-tale which provides a valuable lesson to lazy children.

This story is based on the korean folk-tale entitled "The Ox Mask".

1. Traditional Korean rhythm and dance
The beginning of this performance is opened with the playing of highly esteemed percussion. Traditional Korean dance and music will be performed over the coarse of the performance. There is no intermission between the first and second session. The performers will teach the audience member how to count in Japanese. Following this lesson will be a song in which both the audience and performers will count together in Japanese.

2. Folk-Tale theater "Sang Hyun Morphosis Of An Ox"
This story revolves around a lazy man who turned into an ox. This man listen to an elder who tell him that if he puts on an ox mask he will never have to work. Believing this, the lazy man puts on the mask and turns into an ox. This show expresses the humanity which we are losing during modern times through this man who is turned into an ox. The message of this performance is expressed through the use of both comedy and sorrow. The performers play traditional Korean instruments such as wooden a xylophone, glockenspiel and other traditional instruments. They will perform song and dance which will lead young audiences to another world which is very different from traditional musicals.

Synopsis 

Sang Hyun and Jung Myung live happily together, but Sang Hyun's reputation as a lazy man has strained their marriage. His wife, Jung Myung, has to work twice as hard to make up for her husbands laziness. One day Sang Hyun meets an old man who is making an ox mask. According to the old man the mask has a mysterious power which enables people to never work another day in their lives. Instead of having to work, whoever wears the mask can spend their time eating playing and relaxing. Sang Hyun receives the mask and puts it on. Upon wearing the mask he changes into an ox. He panics and tries to speak. However the only sounds that he can mutter are the sounds of an ox. This story explains the importance of labor by using an interesting an unique style.
