This is an adaptation of the conventional folk tale, The angel and the woodcutter. This play is about a woodcutter and his mother who flee into the forest to escape the consequences of an accidental murder. In the forest, they meet an angel and trap her on earth where she becomes the woodcutter's wife. Tragedy strikes when the woodcutter's mother is killed and the angel is forced onto prostitution. However, this adaptation also reveals the power and resilience of love that swells within the human spirit.
