The Dongnae Crane Dance is a folklore dance. It is called as such not because it realistically mimics movements of a crane but because the dance movements resemble those of a crane. It is characterized by elegant and refined dance movements.

Dongnae Gomu (Dongnae Drum Dance):

It is a kind of drum dance that the court's official dancing girls had performed in th early Goryo Dynasty was handed down to Gyobang(the ancient local office managing female music and dance performers). As it was influenced by the court dance, dignity counts for much. Elegance, splendour and the subtle stepping are characteristic of this dance.
