When the curtain goes up, you can see Song geun-uk sitting at a table and writing something using his laptop. It doesn’t seem to work. He cannot even touch the mouse and the keyboard and just tap the table with his finger, repeatedly moving and shifting his gaze up and down. His gaze stops at the ashtray. He bites a cigarette on his mouth and lit it. As soon as he takes a deep drag at a cigarette, three loud knocks are heard on the door.
‘RESET’ which means ‘Begin afresh together’, ‘Do not conform to type and express the work in the opposite way’ seek experimental and conative work. They started as a project team at 2013. After experimental plays such as ‘Island’, ‘The bus ‘, ‘The last fairy tale’ and ‘Cheongchun Nabi Improvising’, they are officially founded.
They are pursuing creative and aggressive way to perform and avoiding constrain that comes from the old form. ‘RESET’ continues to be a growing theatre company full of challenges through the constant training.
