He was born destined to marry his mother and kill his father. The ancient Oedipus myth has been transformed and recreated, and it has continued down to now, ‘Here and now’, where we live in 2017.
The Oedipus of theatrical company IDEA, which was raised by eating the five tragedies of the cursed ancient Teves palace, contains the theme of 'destiny' that can never be broken by human power. The hero was held in high esteem, but in order to express the fate of the tragedy that was only a puppet in the hands of God, we took control of the theater with physical movements, hanging cloth in the air, and endless music.

The theater company 'IDEA' was founded in 2012 by three artists, emphasizing the art of the theater. We aim to be a space where audiences looking for theater can be surrounded by actors' gestures and music to wash away the dust of everyday life and the audience, theater, and the theater in the theater are co-creativer.
