This play is based on an old Asian adult fairytale about a crane who repaid kindness.

Synopsis
In the Japanese countryside, one man lives with his mother in poverty. One night, this man comes across an abandoned stranger who is barely alive. Out of remorse and kindness, he takes this woman into his home. However, she is ostracized by the man's village and unwelcomed by his mother. During an argument and in an act of frustration, the man accidently kills his mother.
