After failing to have a child from his first wife, Park Sam-jae takes a second wife and has a child but the family with a love triangle cannot be peaceful. Park Sam-jae, who has two wives, cannot find a way to solve his family problems and lies at death’s door in the end. Even in a coma, he tries his best not to die without leaving a word for reconciliation and peace to his two wives but eventually meets the Grim Reaper without leaving a will. Take the Last Train and Watch the Sunset of Geugdan Ter sets the stage divided into left and right so that it can visualize the conflict between the first and second wife as well as visibly separate this world and the next as the patient's room before the death and the room waiting for death. Through the creative stage directing and realistic characters, it evokes the audience’s active observations. This performance tells the story of our neighbors who are hurting each other, and asks the question about the essence of life, "can we watch the red sunset gracefully even on the last train to the end of life?”

Founded in 1988 with its first performance The Last Embrace, Geugdan Ter is a professional performing arts organization specializing in musicals, original plays, and plays for children in Gwangju.
