Announcement for 2019 Busan International Performing Arts Festival 'Dynamic Street'

 Busan International Performing Arts Festival, which celebrates its 16th anniversary in 2019, is proceed a competition of street arts called Dynamic Street.

 As a competition of street arts that does not limit nationality, we are recruiting various performances regardless of location and format.

 We want entries of many street arts performance teams that can communicate with audience in many formats.

1. Overview

  A. Performance period and location

     ⦁ 24th May 2019 (Friday) to 26th (Sunday)

     -24th May 2019 (Friday) : Showcase(One-time)

     -25th May 2019 (Saturday) to 26th May (Sunday) : Contest(Scheduled three-times a day)

     ⦁ Location : undecided

  B. Qualification and performance conditions

     ⦁ All works regardless of location, genre or format

     ⦁ 25~30 minutes

     ⦁ Accommodation support during the performance period

     ⦁ Support fund : 2.5million[KRW] for Domestic participating team / 2,500[USD] for Overseas participating team

  C. Prize

     ⦁ Grand Prize - Prize money 5million[KRW] and Official invitation for next year

     ⦁ Gold Prize - Prize money 3million[KRW] and Official invitation for next year

     ∝ If Overseas participating team receives a prize, the prize money will be paid in the winning team's local currency.

  D. Notification of results : separate notification to only those works that are selected as finalists in February 2019 through preliminary screening
