A "Box" having capacity of 1.5 sq.m of floor space represents the extreme closeness of their common experiences and life paths. It is the playing field - the homeland, prison, sanctuary, memory space, projection screen, and source of light and sound. A place in which the life of the performer begins and ends, to which they are bound for better or for worse. Within the playing fields limitation lays the opportunity for concentration and for a freedom drawn from the interior of the figures. Wolfgang Hoffmann and Sven Till move with trance-like quietness in the border area between theatre and dance. With intensive imagery and heroic adventures they slip from comedy to tragedy and back - with a brief detour through the endlessness of outer space. Wolfgang Hoffmann and Sven Till are central figures of the fabric in Potsdam and have worked together since 1988. After 15 years of partnership, this is their first duet together
