<The Way> expresses ‘Korean sprit’ with Korean movement and traditional music Based on the story, Joshin’s Dream, we see through the struggles of our protagonist that our actions are slave to our emotions.
Without words, <The Way> is told through instruments of Korean tradition: Talchum(a mask dance), Taekkyon(martial arts), Samulnori(percussion quartet) and the Gayageum (stringed instrument). Based on the Korean traditional story of Joshin’s Dream from the book, SamgukYusa written by Iryeon, this performance describes human’s weakness influenced by emotion.
Audiences can experience Korean traditional music in a lively way and unique lighting and video material through this artistic experimental play.
