Guards Bernardo first hear the conversation between Hamlet and Ghost and Bernardo talk about the things he saw to Francisco. The two men try to reason the late king's death and finally they know that King Claudius killed the late king. Even though Francisco makes a plan to make a sizable profit by telling Polonius the truth, Polonius is killed by Hamlet.

As the son of Polonius, Laertes excites a riot, Francisco wants to participate in a riot and Bernardo and Francisco fight because Bernardo doesn't want to go to the riot. But finally Claudius, Laertes, Hamlet, and the Queen meet their death, so the incident about Hamlet disappear in the mists of history...
