The Chernobyl nuclear accident produced more than 100 times more powerful radiation than the 1945 nuclear explosions in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Chernobyl, which covered all of Europe with radiation fears, literally became the land of death. There are still people living in a place that has become a ghost town. The Forgotten Land is a theatre based on the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear accident, the biggest disaster in human history. Point Zero met with local residents of Chernobyl in person and covered them and composed the work based on the inspiration from their testimony. Perhaps that's why they release philosophical and poetic fears about a realistic future. Between dolls that express radiation that we cannot feel directly and actors who vividly deliver the testimony of the local residents living there, we ask questions about the aftermath.

Point Zero is a Belgian theatre company founded in 1993. It is composed mainly of the Belgian director and founder Jean-Michel d'Hoop, who is famous for his experimental and philosophical performances. Point Zero's work continues to explore the relationship between living things and inanimate objects or between actors and dolls. For about a decade, Point Zero has won many awards throughout the work, performing at festivals around the world, including Brazil, Chile, Japan, Russia, France, Romania, Spain, Italy, Korea and China, thanks to its powerful productions.
