In the land of fantasy and dreams, our own reality might seem to us gray, void of beauty and reason, lonely and quiet. Out there in the imaginary world, where we travel in the land of imagination and the globe is just a stone's throw away from us, everything is possible and doable.
The exaggeration and overexposure of the longing for something unseen, something different will diminish our own world and only when we allow ourselves to go on a journey round the globe, full of fantasies and acts, we will understand that the word “at home” is not just a sentimental carrier of memories. It is real; creation and reflection of us. Bad or good, sad or merry –it exists.
The show "The Adventure" is a theatrical game, realization of a dream through honest improvisation. The actors in it decide to go back home, because home, even in theater, is where it is easier to be yourself and stay yourself.
State Puppet Theatre Vidin, BULGARIA
The State Puppet Theater in Vidin was established in 1976. It is subsidized by the Ministry of Culture of Republic of Bulgaria and the Vidin Municipality. The creative team of the theater consists of nine actors. The theater has also and artistic studio, a staff of technicians and administrators. There is also a theater hall with 150 seats and a fully equipped stage.
The repertoire of the theater addresses mainly and audience of children, but plays for adults are performed too. Each year, four new plays are staged, the repertoire comprising 15 titles. The theater holds 300 performances in the town and the region annually, as well as to in other theaters in the country. Performances from all genres and realized will different styles of puppets could be seen on the stage of the Vidin puppet theater.
State Puppet Theater – Vidin has participated in many national and international festivals and theater forums and is a winner of numerous prestigious awards. The State Puppet Theater in Vidin has held successful guest performances in Germany, Austria, Serbia, Mongolia, Croatia, Romania, Hungary, Albania, Belgium, Russia.
