Play called <In the rain> is a work that integrated a novel named 'Shower' by Kim, Yu Jeong with a novel named 'Wings' by Yi Sang.

A man first wishes to rescue a woman from violence and poverty, but he ends up forcing violence and prostitution to her. Jeogu(figure of Yi Sang in the play) who is incapable of working because of illness relies upon his wife. Both of them feel thankful to their wives who make their living by prostitution, but at the same time, they suffer psychological anxiety while continuing passive surveillance on their wives.

The two women cling to a rich landowner.

The old woman ends up committing a murder for survival, and the ingenuous young woman gives up the morals and ethics to visit the landowner's house in the falsely name of love.
