Synopsis

Halmi(the old lady) travels the world with her handcart that is filled with happiness. One day, Halmi creates clay dolls in her beautiful garden: DdoongDdoong(fat one), HolJook(slim one), TangTal(short one) and two other. She gives them musical instruments to begin a traditional quartet. Traversing her skirt like a magical tunnel, they enter a different world. Halmi says,“Go freely into world!” but with one condition: they must not pluck the red flower out of the garden as a symbol of remembrance of their mother.
One day, attractive Dokebi(Korean goblin) comes to the dolls’ village. Dokebi asks for the red flower in the middle of the garden. Entranced by her beauty, they disobey their mother’s only order.
Halmisoon learns of this betrayal and rejects her beloved creations. Dokebi misdeeds continue leaving the dolls alone to suffer the consequences.
