Master Class “8-hour Workshop" in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Marcel Marceau's birth

<Master Class> is a workshop program of BIPAF, celebrating its 20th anniversary, with a focus on "Physical Theater".

This program aims to understand and explore the technical basis of physical theater, which was developed by the historic French artists Etienne Decroux and Marcel Marceau, and to study several theatrical principles and aesthetic compositions that created "CASA DEL SILENCIO", a famous performing arts organization from Colombia.

<Master Class> deals with the approach of dramatic texts for physical language inspired by Georg Büchner Woyzeck’s work, and versions for physical theater of "CASA DEL SILENCIO", leading participants to play with some technical, physical, and choreographic principles, and broadening the expressive possibilities of the participants through the workshop.
